Utah Maintains Its Highest Birth Rate in the Nation while the Diaper Cakes Are Ready

Salt Lake City, Utah, March 18, 2007 -- According to the Utah Department of Health, Utah continues to have the highest birth rate in the country. And as the Centers for Disease Control reports in its latest publication, most of those babies continue to be born in late summer and early fall, having been conceived nine months previously during the cold winter months when many couples spend more time indoors. Anticipating new arrivals, spring-early summer baby showers remain a tradition in America. Friends and family of mommies-to-be need look no further than Utah's own www.RoyalBabyBoutique.com. Owner Kay Neff makes every mom and baby feel like royalty with her unique baby items and designer baby clothes. Neff's specialty, however, is customizing diaper cakes for new moms.

"More than a coincidence!" states owner Neff who opened Royal Baby Boutique this year. "I have even more reason to love Utah…it has the most babies in the nation." Neff serves as a baby shower maestro for both locals and those in other states. "Move over personalized pacifiers and foot candles and make way for my customized diaper cakes by Royal Baby Boutique," says Neff. This mother of four and grandmother of two consults with clients to arrange a diaper cake that will perfectly meet their expectations. Neff's diaper cakes come with chocolate, allowing Neff to meet the needs of new moms craving chocolate. Chocolate is a must-have in any baby shower gift according to Neff because many pregnant women crave it. The thirty pounds gained by the average woman during pregnancy is a statistic that has remained constant since 1990, and Neff predicts that it's probably due mostly to chocolate.

"I design each diaper cake with love because I know how special a new baby is for a woman," Neff comments. To add a royal touch to each diaper cake creation, Neff includes a handmade, sequined onesie from her own line of baby designer clothes, Royal Baby, created by Baby Couture Inc., along with a matching tiara or crown. Neff designs three different types of diaper cakes available on her website but she is happy to customize any one to suit individual clients. She offers a blue "It's a Boy!" diaper cake, a pink "It's a Girl!" version, and a yellow "New Arrival" variety. She admits that she keeps more of the boy's cake elements handy in keeping with that male-female newborn ratio: 1.05:1, another statistic that has stayed largely unchanged for over sixty years.

www.RoyalBabyBoutique.com is owned and operated by Kay Neff. Royal Baby Boutique specializes in designer clothes for babies and toddlers, high-end Christening gowns, and custom-designed diaper cakes. Royal Baby Boutique is expanding its own line of Royal Baby clothes. Visit them on the Web at www.RoyalBabyBoutique.com to see all of their product lines.
